POKOTABI / it COFFEE EBISU
it COFFEE EBISU
Pair hand-dripped coffee or a café latte with carrot cake or cheesecake. With sandwiches on the menu too, it COFFEE EBISU is an Ebisu café open from 8 in the morning.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
For a slow morning over coffee and cake, it COFFEE EBISU offers the pleasure of pairing a hand-dripped cup with something sweet from the display case. One diner who had carrot cake, a wrap sandwich and coffee for breakfast named the cake as a favourite and noted how well it went with the coffee. Alongside carrot cake, the menu includes cheesecake and banana cake; sandwiches come with salmon, prosciutto or tuna.
The cheesecake has been described as moist and rich, yet not as heavy as a soufflé, with a base that was easy to cut through with a fork. Another diner paired it with El Avion from Nicaragua, describing the coffee as crisp and suited to the morning, and the cake as light, with notes reminiscent of yoghurt or milk. Coffee options include paper-drip blends, decaf and single-origin coffees, as well as espresso drinks and cold brew.
For those who enjoy a milky coffee, one diner was pleased with a hot cinnamon latte made with oat milk. The menu also offers customisable lattes with caramel, vanilla, honey or cinnamon, while tea choices include Earl Grey, Fruits Jasmine and chai latte. Whether you are after a morning coffee in Ebisu or a light meal with a sandwich, there are options to suit the moment.
